What is your cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund or credit if a biking tour is canceled 24 hours or more in advance. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. 

Are reservations required?

Reservations are strongly encouraged because tours may have capacity limitations. However, same-day bookings can be made up to 2 hours before a tour, depending on availability.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and gift certificates for online bookings. 

Is there a minimum number of riders on a tour?

Tours generally have a minimum of 2 guests. If a tour will not take place, your guide will let you know a day in advance. 

Is there a maximum number of riders on a tour?

The maximum number of riders varies based on the type of tour and time/date. Generally, most tours will have a maximum of 12 riders. If more than 8 participants are scheduled, an additional guide is provided as well. 

Do I have to know how to ride a bicycle?

Yes, this is a must. In addition, your guide will go over some important biking safety tips before you start to ensure your tour is a safe and pleasant one. 

What are the age restrictions for your tours?

For all tours except the St. Pete Pedaling for Pints Tour and Food & Wine Tour, riders 12 years and older are allowed to participate. For the brewery and wine tours, only riders 21 years and older may participate. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. 

Are the biking tours safe?

Safety is a priority for us. All of the tours will take place on downtown city paths and streets where vehicles/people are accustomed to sharing roads/paths with bicycles. By listening to your guide's instructions and following biking safety tips, you can help us make sure your tour is an awesome one!

What are your sanitization policies?

All bicycles are thoroughly cleaned and wiped down with sanitizing solutions after every tour. Anyone who is actively ill should not participate in the tour. 

What types of bicycles do you provide? 

We are pleased to provide all guests with our Retrospec Beaumont 7-speed hybrid bicycles, equipped with a small basket on the handlebars and a carrier rack over the back tire. These bicycles are designed for urban settings and provide a smooth, comfortable ride. Your guide will provide any necessary adjustments to your bicycle based on your needs. 

What should I wear and bring for the biking tour? 

Naturally, the attire you choose will be weather-dependent, so please check the forecast prior to your ride. Generally, you will want a comfortable pair of shoes and clothing that is not restrictive. Sun protection, lip balm, sunglasses, and snacks may also be considered. Helmets are provided for all guests. We also provide you with your own (filled) souvenir water bottle, and there will be opportunities on the tour to refill or purchase additional water. 

What happens if it rains? 

Especially in the summer months, rain is a regular occurrence. Depending on the intensity and/or duration of a rainstorm, a tour may be canceled. If so, you will be notified as soon as possible. For mild to moderate rain that is intermittent or brief in duration, tours will continue as scheduled. In these instances, ponchos will be provided to guests. 

Are there parking options where the tours start? 

Yes, there is adequate parking near the start/finish locations of the biking tours. Please check out the tour parking map provided for more details. 

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! You may arrange a gift certificate one of two ways. You can CLICK HERE where you may purchase a gift certificate, or you can contact us directly, and we will be happy to assist you. 

Do you host private group tours?

For groups of 4 people or more, we are happy to host a private biking tour through downtown St. Petersburg. This can be one of our existing tours or your own specialty tour if we can accommodate your needs. Please contact us for more information and scheduling. 

Are gratuities accepted/expected by tour guides? 

Gratuities are always left to the discretion of the guest. For most tour companies, gratuities for guides generally average 15% with additional amounts awarded for exceptional service. If you would like to leave a gratuity, you may do so when booking your tour or upon its completion. Alternatively, tour guides can accept cash or electronic app gratuities (Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp) at the end of the biking tour. 

Do you offer discounts? 

We do offer discounts of $10 off tour prices for those who provide their own bicycles and for U.S. military veterans. Please note that only one discount is allowed per tour.
